An Eventful Week - Part 1

Last week in Koru Assembly we performed three Elastic Skipping Rhymes. A big thank-you to Amelia, Tianlu and Annie for taking the time to make elastics using loom bands. This has been a very popular thing to do in our room.

Mrs Jing and Mrs Kirke and Annie are all working together to problem solve how to best use the function line to program Cubetto.

Part B ARTS WEEK

Using Glitter Gel Hama Beads we made butterflies which will be displayed
in the Arts Exhibition
Using cardboard we cut and constructed a flower which was later printed in
white onto black paper.

Mrs Dijkstra read us the big book "Cass the Colour Robber" we drew a scene from the story where all the colour had been zapped.  Our next blog post will show our second drawing where the Colour Robber has a change of heart and returns the colour,
making everything rainbow.

Magical Stones

Mrs Dijkstra read us a story about Milo and the Magical Stones. It is about a group of mice who live on an island and discover magical stones. The story reminds us about making good choices and as we do there will be either be a happy ending or a sad ending. Our own gold stones glittered.
