TIP chart about Inventions

This is our second attempt at a TIP chart.

As part of our learning about Inventions we made a list of inventions that were invented to transport a person or persons. We then used a TIP chart to record in more detail what or how they were used.  Great thinking and teamwork Room 24!

   

Stretching Sentences

For Story Writing last week Mrs Dijkstra gave as a long strip of card and half a page of stickers. We wrote a sticker story by firstly thinking of an animal and then described it using two adjectives. Next we told what it did, where, when and why. The purpose was to write an interesting story by adding in and adding on, more detail. We not only stretched our sentence, we also stretched our brain to think and elaborate on our original idea.
